It means a lot to hear from a Ugandan that my postings represent the issues or the landscape well. As a foreigner in a new country I found myself fascinated with everything that was new and different but I wanted what I wrote here to also represent things the way a Ugandan would see them. Or at least as closely to that as I could get. 

Since returning to Canada I&#039;ve savoured a final bottle of Bond 7 and had one disastrous attempt at making matooke (I have a second bunch of plantains on my counter now to make a second attempt at matooke). Needless to say, I miss Uganda a lot.
